Questions
What is the difference between a static and a dynamic QR code?
A static code contains its content directly: it can never change. A dynamic code contains a short Scanoa link: you choose and change where it leads, and each scan is counted.
Can I change the type of a QR code after printing it?
Yes, if it is dynamic: a code that opened a PDF can show a text, a contact card or a website instead, without reprinting. The change is kept in its history.
What happens to my QR codes if I stop paying?
Nothing is deleted. Your workspace goes back to the Free plan: the dynamic QR codes beyond its limit are paused until you subscribe again. Static codes always keep working.
What do you know about the people who scan?
The approximate place (city, country), the type of device and its language. The IP address is never stored and no cookie is set when scanning.
Can I use my own domain?
Yes, from the Pro plan: your QR codes then show qr.your-domain.ch instead of the Scanoa link.
How is VAT handled?
Prices include VAT. Payments go through Stripe, which issues invoices and handles VAT in your country.
Can I cancel at any time?
Yes, in a click from the settings. The plan stays active until the end of the paid period.
